I'm Merlin, 20, from England. I like a lot of music, night time, satire, black comedy, rain, wine, conversation, black coffee, roll-ups, whiskey and good food. I dislike cold wind, but if I'm wrapped in a large scarf and an enormous overcoat and it's pissing with rain, which is, incidentally, my favourite thing in the world, I'm very happy.
A full-time Lord of the Rings/Legend of Zelda enthusiast, but Irish and Scottish accents, red hair, tattoos, Sigur Rós, Black Books, Thom Yorke, Andy Hull, The Antlers, cooking, gigs and festivals will also do, O best beloved.

chroniccheesylust replied to your post: A lot of anger about the Brit Awards flying about.

I hate the music at the Brits, so I don’t watch the Brits. I don’t understand why more people don’t follow my simple yet effective plan.

I didn’t even watch it (bar the Blur acceptance bit but even that was through sheer luck). But the fact that it’s thrown in my face over the internet and those around me it’s hard not to get angry about it all. I’m not upset that the people I like didn;t win, because it doesn;t matter, if anything I’m just sad for the music industry.

Ah man, I understand, but you’re only seeing the incredibly obvious, Radio 1-backed tip of the ‘music industry’ iceberg when you watch the Brits. I swear there has never been more incredible stuff going on in it than there is right now.
