I'm Merlin, 20, from England. I like a lot of music, night time, satire, black comedy, rain, wine, conversation, black coffee, roll-ups, whiskey and good food. I dislike cold wind, but if I'm wrapped in a large scarf and an enormous overcoat and it's pissing with rain, which is, incidentally, my favourite thing in the world, I'm very happy.
A full-time Lord of the Rings/Legend of Zelda enthusiast, but Irish and Scottish accents, red hair, tattoos, Sigur Rós, Black Books, Thom Yorke, Andy Hull, The Antlers, cooking, gigs and festivals will also do, O best beloved.

Fair enough, JK’s writing isn’t Joyce, and yeah I’ll give you that without any caveat. But the reason I’m getting excited? Because if she writes something even close to how good Potter’s plot was, damn, that’ll be a book worth getting excited about.

I’m actually really excited for it, I’ve been very interested to see how her style may blossom with the freedom to just write for adults.
