I'm Merlin, 20, from England. I like a lot of music, night time, satire, black comedy, rain, wine, conversation, black coffee, roll-ups, whiskey and good food. I dislike cold wind, but if I'm wrapped in a large scarf and an enormous overcoat and it's pissing with rain, which is, incidentally, my favourite thing in the world, I'm very happy.
A full-time Lord of the Rings/Legend of Zelda enthusiast, but Irish and Scottish accents, red hair, tattoos, Sigur Rós, Black Books, Thom Yorke, Andy Hull, The Antlers, cooking, gigs and festivals will also do, O best beloved.

The general opinion on tumblr tonight seems to be that going out is shit, people are shit, dancing is shit, alcohol is shit and staying in watching iPlayer/writing is far more satifisying.

Quite. But, I’m using Netflix and it’s pissing me off a great deal.
